Condos for Sale in Kirkland

Condo communities are very popular in Downtown Kirkland.  With the town’s selection of unique shopping in boutiques and vintage stores and a myriad of dining options from seafood and steak to multi-cultural cuisine to pizza, it’s a wonderfully diverse environment.  Downtown condos range in price from about $460,000 to over $1.2 million and it’s common to find a unit as cozy as 980 square feet or as homey as 1,800 square feet, typically with at least two bedrooms and as many baths.

Homes for Sale in Kirkland

Juanita is one neighborhood in Kirkland with a rich history that has a little something for everyone.  As the largest neighborhood in Kirkland, Juanita has multiple land lots suitable for building but also established homes that would make great investment opportunities, as well as new construction, which lists from about $809,000 to roughly $935,000.  Surrounded by small businesses, maintained parks and trails with lake views, it’s a great location in Kirkland to get started in home ownership or to live in your dream home.  Home styles in Juanita vary from 1-story starter homes with perhaps two bedrooms and one bath to 2-story traditional in newer construction, commonly featuring three to five bedrooms with up to three plus baths.  You will find that square footage ranges from around 800 to 2,700 square feet or more.  Homes under $500,000 are not often found. Typically, older homes over $500,000 may need a little TLC, but have great bones and exterior features like fenced yard and additional storage buildings.  New construction typically features more of the bells and whistles like island kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances, spacious master suites, or flexible space for an extra bedroom or game room.  Multi-car garage, fenced yard, and installed landscaping are common in newer homes. Juanita is also the location for much of the waterfront luxury homes you will find in Kirkland.

At price points over $1 million to just under $5 million, homes are typically quite spacious, up to 7,300 square feet, are generally surrounded by gorgeous property and natural features, like Lake Washington and Mount Rainier, and cover a span of varying ages from the 1990’s to today.  Housing styles are routinely 2-story contemporary with basement, Northwest Contemporary, or even Tudor.  Custom features like slate roof, gated entry, wine cellar, and chef’s kitchen, just to suggest a few, are pretty standard with these higher end homes.  Bed/bath breakdown is almost any combination, beginning with three to eight bedrooms and up to seven full baths.
